Abstract

With social media's increasing popularity in the everyday lives of Americans, and the popularity of elections in American society, it is often wondered if there is a connection between social media usage and political knowledge. Relying on a national public opinion survey, this research will examine the degree that getting one's electoral information from social media affects their level of political knowledge.
