Abstract
Celebrities have played a public role in politics for a long time, often advocating their views on national platforms that influence people who see them. Celebrity endorsements continue to thrive onwards into 2017 with the question remaining over their actual influence on the American public. This research assesses the role that celebrity influence played in the 2016 presidential primaries.
