Rev. Albertus C. Van Raalte was in attendance at the consistory meeting of the First Reformed Church. "Dr. van Raalte" opened the meeting with prayer. The pastor gave an overview of the Wakker domestic situation. Mrs. Wakker was put under censure for running away from her husband. "Her departure has not severed the union which God has brought together."
