At a meeting of the consistory of the First Reformed Church at which Rev. Albertus C. Van Raalte was in attendance, nominations were made for elders and deacons in preparation for the upcoming congregational meeting. The trio of [Roelof] Pieters, [Adrian] Zwemer, and C[hristian] Oggel was recommended. (Apparently the church had received a decline from Rev. Donner in the Netherlands.)
