At a meeting of the consistory of the First Reformed Church at which Rev. Albertus C. Van Raalte presided, the committee reported on proposed locations of the additional church in the village. One site was past the English Church [Hope Reformed?] and a site of four lots owned by the Van Raaltes [at Twelfth Street and Pine Avenue]. Final decision on location would be decided by the congregation. A sketch of the proposed new church building was provided by Messrs. Klijn, Minderhout, and Hofman.
