A notice appeared in De Hollander of this date that Rev. Albertus C. Van Raalte bade farewell to his congregation for several weeks because he was visiting Pella, Iowa, and other places. It was noted that this trip would be easier because he could catch a train only fifty miles away [KaIamazoo].
