RCA minister; graduate of Northwestern Classical Academy (1923), Central College (A.B.), 1927, and Western Theological Seminary (B.D.), 1930. Served churches in Oskaloosa, Iowa; Byron Center, Michigan; Baldwin, Wisconsin; Morrison, Illinois; and Pella, Iowa. President of the Particular Synod of Chicago in 1957. Involved with various boards at Hope College and Western Theological Seminary. Volunteer for Board of Domestic Missions, serving in Oklahoma in 1973. Materials consist mainly of notes and papers relating to his education at the seminary, some written in Dutch.
