Carol Juth served as a reference librarian and assistant professor at Hope College from 1970 until her retirement from the library in 1994. She won multiple awards for her contributions to the librarian profession, including a presidential commendation from the Michigan Library Association for her volunteer efforts as consultant to the Michigan Dunes Correctional Facility Library. Her many activities include being a member of the Women’s Issues Organization, supporting the creation of the Women’s Studies major and minor at Hope College, and actively participating in the Society for the Study of Social Problems by writing two major reports for that organization. Collection includes information pertaining to Women’s Week, Lilly Grants, professional accomplishments, daily work activities (1986-1989), audio tape of an interview about the criminal justice system, and photographs.
