Wilhelm Kruger Haysom was born in San Francisco,California, on December 31, 1936. He was granted a Th.B. degree from Western Theological Seminary in 1939. He was licensed by the Classis of Greene in 1939 and ordained by the Classis of Ulster in 1939. He served as a pastor in Bloomingdale and Saint Remy, New York (1939-1942); First Reformed Church of Amsterdam, New York (1943-1948); Harrington Park, New Jersey (1948-1955); Bethany Memorial, New York City (1955-1958); New Hurley in Walkill, New York (1958-1968); Elmsford, New York (1968-1973); Federated at Kerhonkson, New York (1973-1978); interim pastor at Blue Mountain & Katsbaan, Saugerties, New York (1980-1983); contract pastor at Krumville, New York (1986-1989); pastor at Shokan, New York (1995); and High Woods, Saugerties, New York (1996-1998). Haysom passed away November 13, 2007, in New York state. His collection includes biographical material and selected sermons from n.d., 1956 and 1972. (H)
