Hope College class 1876; attended New Brunswick Theological Seminary (1877-1878), McCormick Seminary (1878-1879), graduated from Rutgers College in 1894, and Central University, Kentucky, in 1905; served pastorates in Ebenezer Reformed Church in Holland, Michigan (1879-1882), First Reformed Church, Grand Haven, Michigan (1883-1886), and Third Reformed Church in Holland (1889-1894). He also served as a professor at Western Theological Seminary (1884-1888, 1894-1903) and Kentucky Theological Seminary, Louisville, Kentucky. (Presbyterian) (1903-1926). Collection of the papers of Henry E. Dosker consists primarily of his writings, including some of his sermons, articles, and letters describing his travels in various parts of the world, which were printed in the Christian Observer. Correspondents include Professor Abraham Kuyper from Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The collection also includes two books: Men Wil Toch Niet Gaarne Een Masker Dragen: Brieven van Henry Dosker aan Herman Bavinck, 1873-1921 by George Harinck and Wouter Kroese, 2018; and Topical Outline Studies in Ecclesiastical History by Rev. Henry E. Dosker, 1901.
