The Anchor began in 1887, and was first issued weekly in 1914. Covering national and campus news alike, Hope College’s student-run newspaper has grown over the years to encompass over two-dozen editors, reporters, and staff. Each Wednesday throughout the academic school year (with few exceptions), the latest issue is distributed across campus. Occasionally, the volume and/or issue numbering is irregular. An index to the full collection can be found at the Joint Archives of Holland. For the most current issue, please visit The Anchor online.

"The Ranchor" is a satirical publication produced "seldom and sporadically during the college year by and for the students of Hope College, Holland, Michigan, 494707, under the authority of just about anyone wishing to take the responsibility."
