Artists' Statement: 'Living on the Edge' is an artist book that invites you to peak inside and check out the inserted photo postcards of extreme, adventurous, outdoor activities that the world has to offer. The transformation involved cutting the side to emphasize the word 'edge' and cutting the word 'growing' out of the cover. The original book had the purpose of inspiring readers to engage in the scriptures of the Bible to gain spiritual growth. My artist book seeks to inspire viewers to jump into a life lived on the edge to have experiences that lead to growth as a person."
